CAMERA SURVEILLANCE ON SITE
Meløstranda Ferie og Fritid receives camera surveillance services from Solid Sikring AS. The camera surveillance mainly covers the entrance and exit to the area, as well as some common areas at the campsite.
The purpose of the camera surveillance at MFF is to ensure the safety of guests, employees and property on the camping site. The surveillance is intended to help prevent and detect unwanted incidents such as break-ins, vandalism, theft and damage to vehicles or buildings, as well as to ensure safe traffic when entering and exiting the area. The cameras are also used to ensure that entrance gates, barriers and other access points are used correctly, and to detect misuse of these. This includes, among other things, preventing unauthorized entry and use that may result in loss of income for MFF, for example by guests or visitors failing to register or pay for their stay in accordance with applicable rules. The surveillance is limited to necessary areas and is not used to monitor guests' private activities beyond what is necessary to achieve the specified security and operational purposes.
MFF is the data controller for the camera surveillance that has been established in the area. The general manager is at all times the overall responsible for the processing of personal data and for handling requests related to access, rights and other questions about the surveillance.
